Welcome aboard, Bath Pirates!
I am a product of Beaufort County Schools! I embarked on my academic journey at East Carolina University, where I earned dual degrees in Child Development and Family Relations, as well as Elementary Education. Fueling my passion for education, I furthered my studies with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from ECU in 2010. Seeking to deepen my impact, I pursued a second master's in School Leadership from Appalachian State University in 2018.
During my teaching tenure, I've had the privilege of nurturing young minds in kindergarten, fostering a love for reading in fourth grade, and igniting mathematical curiosity in fourth-grade students.
I reside near Pinetown with my husband, Doug, who serves as Deputy Fire Chief at Wilson Fire/Rescue Services. We have one son, Keegan, who is diving into fourth grade this year. I enjoy volunteering in my community, where I serve as an EMT for Pinetown Rescue/EMS. Additionally, I enjoy spending time with my family, boating on Pungo Creek, and East Carolina Baseball!
